To start, red is the chosen Lens.com corporate color and remains to this day on their site that way. I recommended a blue or green based on research but used it since they weren’t going to change.
I designed the site structure in a glassy curved way since things you put in your eyes should never have an edge. I designed several pages (below) with that in mind and when the designs were signed off I sliced them for their developers.
Note: The practice of table based design is no longer advised. This site is coded totally different today than at the time this page was created and totally different assets would be delivered. Also, fonts are much easier to embed today and the chosen fonts would be updated as they are at Lens.com today.
